BISE Multan

Board of intermediate and Secondary Education, Multan was constituted under the West Pakistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (Multan and Sargodha) Ordinance, 1968 (now repealed) out of Lahore Board.

It is now being governed under the Punjab Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education Act, 1976. Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Multan was established on 30th March 1968.

Its establishment came into being after an ordinance of Government of West Pakistan, which was passed by the Assembly of Pakistan on 24, May during a meeting. In the beginning, Camp Office of Multan board started working in the Government Central Training College Lahore, on the mid-June, it was shifted to Multan headquarter.

In the beginning Quetta, Kallat, Bahawalpur and Multan including Dera Ghazi Khan was included in the Multan Board.

BISE Multan

In 1968, Quetta and Kallat started working separately, in1978 Bahawal Pur Board was established and started working separately. In 1982, Dera Ghazi Khan Board was separated from Multan Board. Now Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education is working in every district.

Currently BISE Multan is acting an independent Board with all the rights and authorities to conduct and hold the examinations. BISE Multan is also known to be the oldest Board in Pakistan and few other. Districts that lie under the wing of Multan Board are Lodhran, Vehari, Khanewal, and Multan Districts.

These districts work in full functionality under BISE Multan. All examinations are under its supervision and enrollment of students is added in the database of BISE Multan. BISE Multan is responsible of hosting the examinations of classes 8th, 9th, 10th, ICS, FSC, and FA. The difference that is made is that BISE Multan is not eligible to conduct examination for primary classes that include the class 5. Other than that all classes are conducted and hosted by Multan Board for examinational purposes.

Results are announced by the Board online after two to three months of examinations. The results can be found on the official website of BISE Multan that is https://www.bisemultan.edu.pk/. Multan Board announces the date for result two weeks prior. Roll no slips and exam schedules are also uploaded on this website by the board. As this institute is autonomous so they generate their own funds by examinations and also by submitted fees.

BISE Multan’s head office is situated in Multan near Gol Bagh, Gugasht Colony. Multan Board is liberated to perform other duties rather than conducting examinations e.g. declining acknowledgement to the Educational Institutes. Making and amendment of conditions for arranging different examinations held by the Board.

BISE Multan is involved in performing and carrying out extracurricular activities that are exemplary for the everyone participating. The board also give awards and recognition to the students who has performed brilliantly in the examinations as well as sports. There are high distinctions for the students that out do their selves and make Pakistan proud. Hence they are awarded likewise. Scholarships and monetary rewards are given to these students by high government officials.
